The short answer
Otterly.AI is the closest product to ours in price. Its Lite plan is $29 a month before tax for 15 prompts tracked daily on ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Copilot; Gemini costs $9 more and Claude $29 more on that plan, so matching our four providers comes to about $67 at its published add-on prices. Share of Voice is 19 a month including tax for 64 answers a month across all four model APIs, with every answer kept. Otterly gives daily data and Google’s AI features; we give a cheaper, inspectable monthly baseline.
We sell Share of Voice, so this is a vendor’s comparison. Every figure below comes from Otterly.AI’s own pricing and help pages, dated 28 October 2026, and we note where its pages disagree with each other.
Otterly.AI, an Austrian company, is the entry point many small teams find first, and for good reason: it is the cheapest daily tracker we know of with a real feature set. The question is whether daily tracking of 15 prompts is what you need, or a monthly measurement of eight questions with the evidence attached.
Otterly.AI’s plans, as published
| Plan | Price per month | Prompts | Included AI systems | Notable extras |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lite | $29 ($25 on annual billing) | 15 | ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, Microsoft Copilot | Gemini or AI Mode $9 each; Claude $29 |
| Standard | $189 ($160 annual) | 100 | Same four | API, MCP, Agent Analytics; Gemini or AI Mode $59 each; Claude $109; +100 prompts $99 |
| Premium | $489 ($422 annual) | 400 | Same four | Gemini or AI Mode $149 each; Claude $439 |
| Enterprise | Custom | 1,000+ | Custom | SSO, onboarding, quarterly GEO check |
All subscriptions are monthly and can be cancelled in the account, and the pricing page states that prices exclude tax. The free trial needs no card; Otterly’s own pages give its length as seven days in one place and fourteen in another, so ask which applies. Prompts can be written in any language, the dashboard is English only, and Otterly lists more than 70 supported countries, with Switzerland, Germany, France, Italy and Austria covered on all seven engines (Otterly.AI pricing, languages, dashboard language, countries).

The answer-volume row is our arithmetic on Otterly’s published limits, assuming every prompt runs on every included engine every day; it is not a measurement. Otterly’s product and feature pages are the sources for the feature rows (Otterly.AI features). Our side is described on the offer page and demonstrated on the example scan.
Where Otterly.AI is stronger
- Daily tracking. You see movement within days, and alerts when mentions change. Our two runs a month cannot do that.
- Google’s AI features. AI Overviews on every plan and AI Mode as an add-on. We do not measure Google search features, only the Gemini API.
- Sentiment and recommendations. Otterly scores sentiment and suggests optimisations. We report counts and keep interpretation separate from evidence.
- Breadth of markets. More than 70 countries and prompts in any language. We run one market per brand with questions in four languages.
- A trial. You can try it without paying. We publish an example scan instead.
Where Share of Voice is different
- All four model APIs in the price. Claude and Gemini are included rather than sold as add-ons, which is where most of the price gap with Lite comes from.
- Tax-inclusive, cancel any time. 19 is the full monthly amount in your currency; there is no annual plan to be nudged towards.
- Evidence first. Every count links to the original answers and the sources they returned, and the report distinguishes being named from being recommended.
- Questions you approve. Eight unbranded buyer questions, proposed from your website, edited before the first charge and reused so months compare.
- A written limit on every page. Two runs cannot estimate market share, and the report says so instead of showing a score.
Choosing
Is Share of Voice cheaper than Otterly.AI?
At the entry level, yes: 19 a month including tax against $29 plus tax, and about $67 once Gemini and Claude are added to Lite at Otterly’s published add-on prices. Otterly collects far more answers for that money, so the cheaper product is also the smaller one.
Does either tool cover Google AI Overviews?
Otterly.AI does, on every plan. Share of Voice does not measure Google’s search features; it queries the OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini and Perplexity model APIs only.
Can I try Share of Voice for free?
No. There is no trial; the public example scan shows the complete report format, and the first month can be cancelled before it renews. Otterly.AI offers a free trial without a card.
Our buying guide covers how to match either purchase to the decision in front of you, and the free manual method is a reasonable first month for anyone. Prices change; if something here is out of date, tell us through the support form and we will correct it with a visible update date.
